Downtown Winnipeg welcomes tens of thousands of families for the parade, so a little advance planning will help you and your elves get to the right spot.
For more details, keep reading below. We can't wait to see you at the parade!
Winnipeg Transit can be an easy and affordable way to get to the parade and back home again. Plan your trip here: Navigo, the online Trip Planner.
Note: some regular routes will be re-routed to make room for Santa and his sleigh.
View the map below, call 311 or visit the Winnipeg Transit website for additional route and schedule information.
Handi-transit will provide access to select accessible seating areas on parade day.
Limited free parking is available near the parade route, so arrive early to find a spot. See the map below for suggested parking.
Whether you're carpooling or taking transit this year, Park and Ride for free at KP! Pick up a parking pass at KP Guest Services anytime between November 10 - 16. On parade day, display the pass on your dash, park in the designated lot (see MAP), and go from there! 125 passes will be available on a first-come, first serve basis, one per family while quantities last.
*Passes do not cover transit fees.
Several streets will be closed as we prepare for Santa's arrival. On Saturday, Nov. 17, streets will begin closing at 1:30 p.m. Check the map below for details.
