Parade Route / Times
The Winnipeg Santa Claus Parade starts at 4:30 p.m Saturday, November 28 beginning at Portage Avenue and Young Street and heads east down Portage Avenue all the way to Main Street.
The Parade continues south down Main Street, turns onto William Stephenson Way where it ends at Westbrook Street.
The Parade Headquarters and Communication Centre are located at The University of Winnipeg, Richardson Science Building at Portage Avenue and Langside Street.
Santa Shuttle buses for Parade volunteers only are at the following locations:
- Great-West Life parking lot behind 100 Osborne Avenue
- Furby and Broadway
- The Forks parking lot P117 across from the Canadian Human Rights Museum, Waterfront and William Stephenson Way
Energy 106 FM Great Canadian Football Party – Portage Avenue and Memorial Avenue (near The Bay)
Cheer Extravaganza 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
MacDon Fan Experience & Family Fun Zone and Nissan Titan Street Festival 10:00 am - 8:00 pm at Richardson Science Building at Portage Avenue and Langside Street.
Street route closures begin with Portage Avenue at 2:00 pm and followed by the Main Street closure at 2:30 pm on Saturday, November 28.

'No Feet On The Street' sponsored by MPI is in effect during the Parade! For your safety please stay off of the street during the Parade.
Video surveillance will be in effect at various locations downtown on Parade day.

Camerata Nova - Free Concert held at Manitoba Hydro Place from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
- Canad Inns invites you to enjoy a free cup of hot chocolate during the concert.
Santa's Block Parties begin at 3:30 pm

to a special free performance by Camerata Nova.
Camerata Nova opens the season with a special performance sponsored by Manitoba Hydro for the Santa Claus Parade, on November 28, 2015 from 2:00 to 3:00. Before you take the kids to the parade, enjoy a light holiday concert with Camerata Nova in the Atrium of the Manitoba Hydro Building. The free performance includes holiday classics as well as a taste of their upcoming concert – A Ghost of Christmas Past .

Other Important Info
Please leave your dogs, cats, reindeer, snakes, penguins, ferrets, lizards, and other creatures at home. Special-needs animals are the exception of course.
It is never fun to get hurt, but if you do we have The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service and St. John's Ambulance on-site. Please locate a police officer, security personnel or a volunteer and they will get someone to help you.
Lost and Found
Lost something that is yours? Found something that is not? Come to the Lost and Found at the Downtown Winnipeg Biz, 426 Portage Avenue. All articles gathered up after the Parade will be collected by Santa's Helpers and stored at his workshop. Please contact (204) 77Santa (777-2682) after the Parade.
We want to make the viewing experience the best possible experience for everyone. There are special reserved areas along the Parade route for people who need a little extra attention. Santa and his sleigh need lots of room to visit us on Parade day and we have had to re-route some of the regular bus routes. For route and schedule information visit Winnipeg Transit website or call 311.
Lots of participating businesses have opened their washrooms to the public and of course you will need not to look far to find one of the many portable units stationed on side streets along the Parade route. Ask a Host-a-Block or Parade volunteer for directions.
The Winnipeg Santa Claus Parade is proud to partner with the Christmas Cheer Board. The Christmas Cheer Board will be accepting non perishable food items and new unwrapped gifts.
Look for volunteers in the Parade as they will be picking up items along the Parade route!
Remember - please pick up after yourselves. We know there are many goodies distributed throughout the Parade and Santa and his elves appreciate your help to make the world a cleaner place.
A number of authorized food vendors will be set up on side streets along the Parade route. Check with your Host A Block Volunteers for directions.
